Let's Face some Weight Loss Facts
Although our stories may vary, there are some basic weight loss facts that affect us all. Most of us have been down this road many times before.
Have you?
Here are some weight loss facts that you need to be aware of.
I will have a very important question to ask you at the end of this list so please pay attention.
- The inability to lose weight or maintain weight is more than just cosmetic. Overweight and obesity have been identified, by extensive research, to be a risk factor in numerous chronic conditions such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, cancer and osteoarthritis.
- People that attempt to shed excess pounds invariably choose unhealthy methods to do so. Although dieting or missing meals may have a positive effect on your bathroom scale, it is usually a temporary reduction and is often followed by a net gain within the next year.
- Restricting the amount of food you consume deprives your body of the fuel it requires to operate at it’s potential. This action is interpreted by your body as imminent danger of starvation. Its response is to conserve its resources. The results, your efforts to loose weight are stalled. You have reached a plateau. This is one of the weight loss facts that defeats almost any diet you try
- Sometimes after maintaining this impasse for a few days your body will go on the offensive. Lack of nutrition is no longer acceptable and your body forces you into a state of binge eating.
- Have you tried taking diet pills? Or possibly even surgery to remove the unwanted pounds. If you have, you know that they don’t offer permanent solutions either. In fact many weight loss medications can have serious side effects. (Remember phentermine/fenfluramine or phen-fen?) At best, they will have moderately effective results which quickly disappear once you stop taking them.
- Many have discovered that extreme dieting can lead to serious illness such as anorexia. Often it can even lead to death.
Now let’s stop and let this all sink in for a moment.
OK, here's my question ...
I wonder ... "Have you noticed a pattern here?
Read the list again if you need some time to think.
The Answer is ...
In every instance we have been trying to force the body into complying with our notion of what it needs or doesn’t need.
This concept is worth repeating ...
.... In every instance we have been trying to force the body into complying with our notion of what it needs or doesn’t need.
Okay, by now you are probably thinking …
“What else is there? If we can't force our body to lose weight what is the alternative?”
Well, although there have been a great many so called “solutions” to overweight and obesity over the years, none of them have addressed the underlying cause.
Let me give you a hint. I've said before. I repeat it on this website.
We are Not What We Eat – We are What Our Cells Eat (In other words - What we Digest)
Yes you guessed it. It all boils down to one simple word:
Digestion!
I am sure that you will be happy to hear that ...
- It's not a matter of deprivation.
- It’s not a matter of exercise.
- It’s not a matter of counting calories.
The main reasons we gain weight and are unable to shed weight are:
- a diet heavy on sugars
- food sensitivities that cause food cravings and nutrient deficiencies
- toxicity
So what we need to do is target these problem areas through the proper use of Enzymes.
Your Body Knows Best
We need to feed your body what it needs to fully utilize the nutrients you are consuming.
Once the cells in your body are fully nourished, your body will start normalizing and you will begin to see the results you have been wishing for.
You might also be surprised to hear that, while your body is shedding the pounds, You Won't Feel Hungry because your cells are receiving all the nutrition they need.
And in case you are wondering ...
... People that need to put on a few pounds will also have their wish granted.
The next logical step then, is to talk about
Weight Loss Success
through proper digestion
